Why I love being a maternity photographer…

Very little in this world compares to the love of an expecting mother and their soon-to-be child or children.

Maternity photography is one of my favorite types of photography because I am able to capture this great love by seeing an expectant mother glowing during this particular time. I am able to capture the excitement of an expecting mother with every single shot.

This is definitely a moment that they will never forget, and it’s important for me to talk to my clients before to make sure they get the maternity shoot of their dreams. I want them to be able to look back on these later and remember the joy and excitement they felt when they were about to have their child. We usually talk about outfits beforehand so they can feel comfortable and look amazing for every single shot.

One of my favorite things about maternity sessions is having beautiful sunlight highlighting all of their features and making them shine during this time, where the glow can be seen and felt everywhere.
