Why I Love Being a Family Photographer…

The best part of family photography is witnessing the love and connection that binds families together. I’m always amazed at how much everyone adores one another—and how playful they can be, even in the simplest moments.

Capturing children and parents just as they are in that season of life is such a gift. Kids grow up so fast. One day they’re giving nose kisses, and the next they’re suddenly teenagers. These photos become keepsakes—reminders of a time they'll never forget.

One of my favorite things to do during sessions is let the kids take the lead—running wild, exploring, and just being themselves. That’s when the magic happens. Parents often relax too, and I get to document the most honest, joyful moments.

I like to keep sessions easygoing and natural. While I guide and style as needed, I also leave room to explore, laugh, and let the day unfold. These are the times I get to capture the soul of a family—those fleeting, in-between moments that become the most treasured memories.
